One of the simplest and most consistent ways of raising additional restaurant revenue in Ontario is through upselling. The process is a simple one, too. It starts with asking simple questions – “would you like to add chicken to your salad?”

These questions can be strategically applied in a variety of situations. Asking if guests would like a cocktail instead of just water, mentioning add-ons to meals, etc. Things like that can boost revenue in ways that may seem small but add up over time.

Hosting Events

Another great way for restaurants to rake in additional revenue is by hosting local events. It can start small and play to the strengths of the business. Over time, and hopefully with success, it can mean hosting bigger and better events.
